What SideFlex provides

SideFlex is an early-access marketplace where people post projects, apply for work, review applicants, and communicate. SideFlex is not a party to work agreements between members and does not employ workers through the marketplace.

SideFlex does not currently process payments for project work, hold funds for members, provide escrow or insurance, conduct identity or background checks, or guarantee work, earnings, payment, safety, qualifications, or a particular outcome. Membership subscriptions are separate from payments for work. Labels marked “Example · not hiring” identify fictional listings. Practice applications do not contact a real customer or earn money.

Membership plans and billing

Free includes 1 open project. Plus costs $9 USD per month for up to 5 open projects. Pro costs $29 USD per month for up to 20 open projects. Finding work, applying, and messaging remain free on every plan. An open project is a member-posted listing accepting applications; closed or administratively hidden projects do not use an open-project slot. Examples and externally sourced jobs do not use your slots.

Paid plans are available only when checkout is enabled. Stripe processes membership payments through Nerdi. You must be authorized to make the purchase, and any purchase by a minor must be made or authorized by their parent or legal guardian. Checkout shows the recurring price and any applicable tax before you confirm. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; by subscribing, you authorize those recurring charges.

Use Plans & billing to manage your payment method, view invoices, change plans, or cancel. Cancellations and downgrades take effect at the end of the paid period. Upgrade charges are shown before confirmation. Paid access begins after payment confirmation. If renewal payment fails, paid access lasts through the previously paid period; the account then uses Free limits unless payment is completed.

Existing projects and conversations remain when a plan changes. If your open projects exceed your new limit, close enough projects before posting or reopening another. A subscription does not guarantee applicants, a successful hire, work, or earnings. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age required where you live, and be legally permitted to use the service. If you are below the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must permit and supervise your use. A minor must not enter a work arrangement they cannot legally undertake. Posters and workers must follow applicable age, employment, safety, licensing, and work-authorization requirements.

Provide accurate information, protect your account, and use only accounts and credentials you are authorized to use. If you act for an organization, you must have permission to do so. Contact info@sideflex.app if you believe your account has been misused.

Agree on the work directly

Before starting, participants are responsible for agreeing on deliverables, timing, revisions, payment amount and method, expenses, cancellation, confidentiality, and ownership of completed work. Posting, applying, or selecting an applicant does not by itself establish those terms, collect payment, or guarantee a booking.

Participants are responsible for evaluating each other, complying with applicable laws, and addressing taxes, worker classification, permits, and any required insurance. SideFlex does not decide employment status or resolve payment and performance disputes. Discuss disagreements directly and report suspected misuse to info@sideflex.app.

Acceptable use

Use SideFlex for genuine, lawful work and respectful communication. Do not post scams, misleading offers, illegal or exploitative work, harassment, discriminatory content, malware, or material that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not impersonate people, spam members, solicit account credentials, or attempt to bypass access controls.

Do not publish passwords, financial account details, government identifiers, exact private addresses, or other confidential information. Only share materials you have permission to share. A listing must accurately describe the work and budget; it must not require applicants to pay an advance fee to obtain the advertised work.

Your content

You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You give SideFlex permission to host, store, format, and display that content as needed to operate the features you use, such as public listings and messages to other participants. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions.

This permission does not transfer ownership of project deliverables between participants. Agree on those rights directly. How personal information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability, moderation, and accounts

Features may change or be unavailable while SideFlex is in early access. We may remove content or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, or legal requirements. Contact info@sideflex.app to report a concern or ask for a review.

You can stop using the service at any time. To request account closure or deletion, email info@sideflex.app from your account address. Closing a listing or withdrawing an application does not delete your account. Existing obligations between members remain their responsibility.

Service limitations and your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SideFlex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Members’ content and conduct are their responsibility, and SideFlex does not warrant the accuracy or performance of their offers.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not replace the agreements participants make with each other.
