TURN A TO-DO INTO A DONE

Post your project.
Find someone to help.

Need a deck cleaned up, a spreadsheet organized, or a video edited? Give your project a clear brief and a budget, then review people who want to work on it.

Post a job →Looking for work instead?

Make the brief easy to say yes to.

A specific result

Name what you need delivered, the format, and the materials you will supply. “Clean up a 12-slide pitch deck” is clearer than “Help with marketing.”

A clear budget

Enter the total project budget in USD and an estimate of the effort. Explain what is included so applicants can judge whether the work fits.

A realistic timeline

Choose the start timing and state the actual deadline in the brief. Include check-ins, handoff requirements, and limits on revisions.

Copy the structure. Add your details.

Title: Turn our project notes into a team tracker

Deliverable: An editable spreadsheet with tasks, owners, deadlines, and one summary view.

Provided: Organized notes and our preferred spreadsheet template.

Timing: First version by Friday; one revision round after feedback.

Handoff: A short written guide to updating the tracker.

An illustrative brief, not an active job. Set a budget that matches your scope. Keep exact home addresses, account passwords, and private contact details out of the public listing.

What happens after you post?

  1. Publish the listing.

Sign in, complete your profile, and select Post a job. Add the brief, category, location or Remote, budget, estimated effort, and start timing. Your listing becomes visible to people browsing SideFlex.

  2. Review applications.

Open My jobs → My posted jobs → View applicants. Read each introduction and the applicant’s skills and bio. Use Messages to ask questions about the project.

  3. Select someone and agree on the work.

Choose an applicant, confirm scope and payment arrangements together, and close the listing when you no longer need applications. Selecting an applicant does not charge you or automatically close the job.

Before you publish.

Is posting a job a purchase?

No. Posting creates a listing. It does not book a worker, charge a card, or create an in-app payment. The two participants agree on the work and payment separately.

Can I post a remote project?

Yes. Use Remote as the location and describe any timezone, meeting, or delivery requirements in the brief.

Can I close a listing?

Yes. In My jobs, open My posted jobs to close or reopen a job you own. A closed job stops accepting new applications.
