What works today?
Email and Google sign-in, profiles, browsing and filtering, saved jobs, job posting, applications, applicant selection, and private text messages are available. The app saves your account data across sessions.
Who can see my information?
Job descriptions and the poster’s display name are public. The job owner can see an applicant’s introduction and profile details. Conversations are available to that applicant and the poster. SideFlex does not share your account email with other members through the marketplace.
Are the examples real jobs?
No. A listing marked “Example · not hiring” is fictional and cannot earn money. A practice application is saved to your account without contacting a real customer. Member-posted opportunities are labeled separately.
How do messages work?
After an application, the poster and applicant can open Messages in My jobs. Active and selected applications support messages. Withdrawn and declined applications keep the conversation read-only. There are no email or push message alerts yet; open the app to check your conversations.
How are payments and verification handled?
SideFlex does not process payments, provide escrow, conduct identity or background checks, or handle disputes. Participants arrange scope and payment themselves. Selection in the app is not a payment guarantee or a substitute for agreeing on terms.
Can I install SideFlex on my phone?
Yes. It is an installable web app. On iPhone, open sideflex.app in Safari and use Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android, use Chrome’s Install app or Add to Home Screen option. Jobs and account actions require an internet connection. Native App Store and Google Play releases are not available yet.
